LA CENTER - Lucille Piper, age 97, died Sunday at 10:40 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of La Center Christian Church.
Lucille is survived by two sons, Lyndel Piper of La Center and Neil Piper and his wife, Nancy, of La Center; three daughters, Shirley Moore and her husband, Bobby, of West Paducah, Barvia Piper of La Center, and Joyce Weller and her husband, Jim, of Tonto Verde, Arizona; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Piper; one great-grandson, Ryan Allen Edwards; four sisters, and five brothers, and her parents, Henry and Annie Emma Sparks.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Dean Ross officiating. Interment will follow at Maplelawn Cemetery in Paducah.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center.
