Margaret Nirmaier

Margaret Burt Nirmaier, 91, passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Homes of Louisville on Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
Born in Louisville on Dec. 27, 1918, she and her family moved to Paducah in 1952, where she worked for the McCracken County Board of Education and retired as a long-time employee of West Kentucky Easter Seals. She was a member of Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, James (Teresa) Nirmaier of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Jenny Nirmaier of Louisville and Mary Burt Zoller of Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, John Zoller, Matthew Nirmaier and Madeline Nirmaier; and 2 great-grandchildren, Taylin and Layla Zoller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1963.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Roth Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fountain Avenue United Methodist Church or West Kentucky Easter Seals.
