Marie Christine Marshall Chandler, 81, of Paducah died Monday at Medco Center.
Christine was born March 10, 1929, in Livingston County, Ky., to the late Ruby Allen and Anna Marie Rudd Marshall.
She retired from Florsheim Shoe Factory after over 40 years of employment. She was a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church, now Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, for over 60 years.
Surviving are a sister, Esther Lurene Curry of Saginaw, Mich.; two brothers, James B. Marshall of Lake Mary, Fla., and Allen C. Marshall and wife, Dorothy, of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James Edward Chandler; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, which would have been her 82nd birthday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Stephen Seaford officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
