Marie Monroe

Marie Antoinette "Toni" Monroe, age 90, of Paducah, KY passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at
Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Toni was a 1946 graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School and enjoyed planning and attending
their many class reunions. She retired from South Central Bell (BellSouth/ATT) after 47 years as a
service representative. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Paducah, and was active in the Christian Women's Fellowship, the Chancel Choir, and
volunteered in the church office for many years.
Toni is survived by two nephews, Charles Wieber, of Fulton, KY and Roy Wieber, of Louisville, KY;
her friend, Ann Denton, as well as many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodford C. and Kensye Anne White Monroe; her
brother, W. L. ("Monk") Monroe and wife Mary Anna; her sister, Frances Monroe Flanagan.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral
Home of Paducah with Rev. Jae Gottman officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park
Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 am Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Milner & Orr Funeral
