Marilyn Wilson

Services for Marilyn L. Wilson, 74, of Paducah will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah with the Revs. Alfred Anderson and James A. Hodge officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery.
Ms. Wilson died at 5:47 a.m. Tuesday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Ms. Wilson was a 60-year member of Miles Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served as a stewardess and a member of the culinary arts committee and church choir. She was a member of the Interdenominational Union Choir, a member of the Interracial Women's Group and retired from Western Baptist Hospital, where she worked as a nurse's aide.
Surviving are one daughter, Karen Elaine Wilson of Paducah; one son, Lamont Ivy Wilson of Paducah; two sisters, Mattie McKinney of Gardenia, Calif., and Wanda Faison of Davenport, Iowa; three brothers, Walter McKinney of Davenport and Otis McKinney Jr. and Parris McKinney, both of Paducah; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wilson; one daughter, Florence Ellen Wilson; and three sisters. Her parents were Otis McKinney Sr. and Luevada Bowden McKinney.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
