Martha Sue Zeiss Clymer, age 82, of Paducah passed away at 4 a.m. Monday at Parkview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Clymer was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she was a former secretary. She owned Clymer's Restaurant in Paducah for many years with her husband.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. Stephen Earl Clymer, and wife Sharon, of Paducah, Judge Craig Zeiss Clymer, and wife Phyllis, of Paducah and Alan Scott Clymer, and wife Kimberly, of Katy, Texas. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Samuel Gene-Ruoff Clymer, and wife Elizabeth, of Paducah, Aimee Kathleen Clymer-Hancock, and husband Chris, of Lexington, Ky., Christadora Clymer Wynens, and husband Blake, of Savannah, Ga., Coriander Clymer Williams, and husband Christopher, of Bowling Green, Ky., Olivia Lee Clymer, Stanton Dupuy Clymer and Kristen Scott Clymer, all of Katy, Texas, and one great-grandchild, Ava Marie Williams of Bowling Green, Ky. She is also survived by a nephew, Bobby Clymer of Calvert City, and several other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clymer was preceded in death by her husband, Ollis Earl "Bubba" Clymer; her parents, Charles and Susie McIntosh Zeiss; and three brothers, Harold Zeiss, Jack Zeiss and Leslie Zeiss.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating and burial in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
