STEWART, Tenn. - Mary Lou Bryant Hodge, 75, of Stewart, formerly of Brookport, Ill., passed away at 12:45 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008, at the Kindred Hospital in Nashville. Mrs. Hodge was a native of Paducah, Ky. and was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Dover. She was the former President of the Stewart County Baptist Association Women's Missionary Group. Mrs. Hodge also worked for the Clausner's Hoisery Mill.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Robert "Bob" W. Hodge; two daughters, Cynthia Warner of Paducah and Amy Ross and husband Todd of Tennessee Ridge; four grandchildren, Janet Hartman, James Warner, Barry Ross and Rachel Ross; six sisters, her twin sister, Martha Sue Bradley, Glenn Keeling, Grace Harris, Janice Rose, all of Paducah, Brenda Roach of Reidland, Ky. and Peggy Moody of Stewart; two brothers, Roy Bryant of Reidland and Phil Bryant of Princeton, Ky.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Barry" Hodge and her parents, Roy Lee Bryant Sr. and Lena Mae Brewer Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Bud Sherrill and the Rev. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call today from 5 until 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
