Saturday, January 30 2010 SYMSONIA, Ky. - Mary Myrtle Hopkins, 92, of Symsonia died at 4:56 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of Gospel Mission Worship Center.
Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Deweese and Sue Babb, both of Paducah, and Charolette Barrett of Symsonia; one sister, Louise Keeling of Paducah; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Hopkins; three sisters; six brothers; and four grandchildren. Her parents were Joe and Fanny Lewis Johnson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Red Cross, Haiti Relief and Development, 2025 E St., NW, Washington, DC 20006.
