Melvin Leroy Babb, 85, of Paducah died at 8:06 a.m. at his daughter's home.
He was a native of Paducah and worked as a body shop manager for Stacy Chrysler and West Kentucky Motors.
Surviving are one daughter, Jessie Carol Babb Jones of Paducah; one son, Gerald L. Babb of Gilbertsville; one brother, James Babb of Paducah; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cozette Pickett Babb. His parents were Hollie Babb and Genolia Puckett Babb.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating.
There will be no visitation. Keeling Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
