Mildred Zauf Adams, 90, of Louisville died Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at her home, Jefferson Place.
She was born June 9, 1919, in Paducah, Ky., the daughter of Michael Joseph and Florence Dagley Zauf.
She was a lifetime resident of Paducah before moving to Louisville to be near her son.
She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church.
Her husband, Wallace Adams Sr., preceded her in death July 15, 1987, in their 50th year of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Wanda Zauf.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Mike Adams of Louisville and Wallace Adams Jr. of Paducah; two daughters, Nancy Ruoff of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Joe Ann Hightower of Trenton, Mich.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Grateful acknowledgement is extended to the entire staff at Jefferson Place for their care of both Mrs. Adams and Mike during their illnesses.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. CST Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2010, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Louisville, Ky.
