Services for Murrell F. Edwards, 84, of Paducah will be at 2 this afternoon at Lindsey Funeral Home with James Norment officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at his home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from Illinois Central Railroad.
Surviving are one son, Larry Edwards of Davenport, Iowa; one daughter, Larenda Johnson of Paducah; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Edwards; one brother; and one sister. His parents were LeRoy Edwards and Katie Hill Edwards.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
