Nettie Litton Dickinson, 95, of Paducah, formerly of Memphis, passed away Thursday May 12, 2011, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Dickinson was a member of Paducah First Baptist Church, a member of the Illinois Central Railroad Auxiliary and a member of the Homemakers Club.
She is survived by daughter Jeanette Crowe and husband Courtney of Paducah; two sons, Joel David Dickinson Jr. and wife Eva of Paducah, James Lewis Dickinson and wife Brenda of Sylacauga, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson, Clark Crowe, Joey Dickinson, Jim Murphy, Melissa Lewis, Emily-Beth Dickinson, and Hannah-Lee Dickinson. Great grandchildren, Allison Crowe, Brandon Crowe, Adam Thompson, Alayna Thompson, Avery Thompson, Michael Murphy, Jordan Murphy, Jena Murphy, Kaitlin Valliere, and Jessica Abbott. Great-great-grandchildren, Jack Murphy and Tate Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel David Dickinson Sr.; her parents, Alec L. and Maudie Lovell Litton; two sisters, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, and until the funeral hour Sunday at the funeral home.
