Otha Ross

Gillard Ross, 87, of West Paducah died at 5:30 a.m. Friday at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Palestine United Methodist Church and a member of Grahamville Masonic Lodge No. 707. A 1940 Heath High School graduate, he was a World War II Army veteran and retired from Pennwalt Corp.
Survivors include three sons, Paul Ross, David Ross and Joe Record, all of West Paducah; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Record Ross; his parents, Thomas Milburn and Ella Jones Ross; five brothers; and five sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Kendrick Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
