Peggy Joyce Coleman Parker, 74, of Paducah died at 10 p.m. Jan. 3 at her home.
Ms. Parker was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie D. Parker; two brothers; and two sisters. Her parents were Lewis and Ethel Franklin Coleman.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Strickland of Paducah; one daughter Marvina O. Foster of Fairburn, Ga.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Mathis of Paducah and Ella Gardner of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah. The Rev. Michael Wade will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Park Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
