Services for Penny Lynn Hurst "MoMo" Kirkham, 54, of Paducah will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkham died at 8:07 p.m. EST Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in Wilmington, N.C.
She was a 1972 graduate of Tilghman High School and a 20-year member of F.O.P. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Kirkham was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she had taught Acteens and GA's. She was a former employee of both Western Baptist Hospital, where she worked in the dietary and radiology departments, and Union Planters, where she worked in loan operations. She was a daily presence in the lives of her six beloved grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Doug Kirkham; her children, Thomas Kirkham and wife, Stacy, Laurrelle Couch and husband, Phillip, and Tim Kirkham and wife, Nicole, all of Paducah; her mother, Verna Lee McCloud "MeMa" Hurst of Paducah; her mother-in-law, Jackie Kirkham "GG" Bryant of Paducah; her brother, Rick Hurst Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Reidland; her sister, Pamela K. Railey and husband, Miles, of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Ashton Lynn Kirkham, Mallory Laurrelle Couch, Connor Douglas Kirkham, Landon Phillip Couch, Emily Ann Glover and Nathaniel James Tidwell; and her nieces and nephews, Tracy Railey, Madalin Chadwick, Kelly Ladd and Scott Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Richard Hurst Sr.; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hurst and Mr. and Mrs. W.G. McCloud; her grandparents-in-law, L.W. and Elma Huntley; her father-in-law, Jake Kirkham; and her niece, Leigh Anne Hurst.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the funeral home.
