Pete Gus Kappas Sr., 67, of Paducah passed away at 10:55 a.m. Monday at his residence.
Mr. Kappas was retired from Atochem North America and was an avid motorcyclist.
Surviving are two sons, Pete (Cyndi) Kappas Jr. and Jim (Holly) Kappas of Paducah; two sisters, Linnie Pauley and Olga Harned, both of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Whittney Kappas, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kappas was preceded in death by parents, Gus and Mary Kappas.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Nelson Shelby officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
