Phyllis Walker

November 29, 1942 — February 4, 2017

Phyllis Jennings Walker passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Vanderbilt University
Medical Center in Nashville, TN on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

She was a quilter and enjoyed sewing. She worked as a bookkeeper, tax preparer and tailor. Phyllis
attended Southland Baptist Temple and was in the PFAFF Sewing Organization.

Mrs. Walker is survived by three daughters, Vicki Walker Davidson and husband Doug of Paducah, KY,
Sandy Walker Gordley of Sturgis, KY and Penny Walker Mariner and husband Joe of Paducah, KY; two
sisters, Carol Dismore of Paducah, KY and Nancy Jennings of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Michael
Jennings of Brookport, IL and Randy Jennings of Paducah, KY; five grandchildren, Wesley Mariner and
wife Ashton, Brandon Mariner and wife Kasie, Corey Tucker, Jennifer Tucker, Kristina Olivia Housden
and husband William; and three great-grandchildren, Tylee McElroy, Taryn Tucker and Kendra Housden.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leslie J. Walker, Jr. and her parents, James
Edward Jennings and Artie Lou Dause Jennings.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home
and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Topper Council and Rev. Jimmy Franks officiating. Burial
will follow at Maplelawn Park cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Milner & Orr
Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
