Randy Arness Pearson, age 32, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville, Tennessee.  He was born December 2, ,1988, in Carbondale, Illinois to his parents, James Pearson and Jurner Alexander Thomas.

Randy was a member of the Greater Love Church and was employed with LG Manufacturing in Clarksville.  He also attended Paducah Tilghman High School where he participated in the Army ROTC Program.

Randy was quite the “OUTDOORSMAN” and would wholeheartedly express his love for nature.  He was known to be a “Very Out-Doorman”.  Randy loved life to the fullest, was both affectionate and spontaneous, and just loved life in general.  His abundance of love flowed over into his family for he thoroughly loved his children, nieces, nephews, and his whole family.  We shall never forget though, that he had a great love for his dogs.  Randy was also quite the sportsman, especially when it came to basketball.

Randy leaves not only His Parents, James Pearson of Oak Grove, KY and Junrner Thomas of Hopkinsville, KY but also His Two Daughters, La’Niya Pearson of Clarksville, TN and Azlyee LeAn Pearson of Paducah, KY; Two Brothers, Sehgarra Alexander of Clarksville, TN and James Pearson, Jr. of Hopkinsville, KY; Two Sisters, Jamie Pearson and Ginger Lamar, both of Oak Grove, KY; Seven Aunts, Norma Thompson of Milwaukee, WI, Ruth Williams of Murray, KY, Mary King-Hite of Phoenix, AZ, Rosemary Farr of Carterville, IL, Mary Henderson of Columbus, OH, Tammy Alexander of Knightdale, NC and Pat Bridges of Paducah, KY; Four Uncles, Percy Jones of Clarksville, TN, Joe Alexander of Cape Girardeau, MO, Wayne Fowler of Paducah, KY and Charlie Williams of Tulsa, OK; Paternal Grandfather, Jesse Lee Pearson of Metropolis, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends to mourn his passing.

Randy was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Georgia B. Alexander and his paternal Grandmother Debora Pearson.

A Service of Celebration will be held, Monday, March 22, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, LLC, with Reverend Dr. Gwendolyn Duncan officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the hour of Celebration.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, all are required to wear both a mask and gloves in order to attend both the visitation and services.  We ask that you maintain a social distance of six feet at all times.
