Raymond Harold Dye, age 84 of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital.
Raymond was born in Paducah on November 26, 1933 to Erness "Coley" Dye and Rosa (Housman) Dye. He and his beloved wife, Glenda, were devoted members of Lone Oak Church of Christ. Raymond can be remembered as being a huge fan of Kentucky Basketball and from his long and successful career as an Engineer with Illinois Central Railroad.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Diane Lindley of Paducah; three grandsons, GReg Lindley of Paducah, David LIndley of Pducah and Joshua Dye of Paducah; two great-grandchildren, Josiah Dye and Samantha LIndley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda (Hancock) Dye; one son, Terry Ray Dye, and his parents Ernest and Rosa Dye.

Funeral services for Raymond will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Paul Winfgield officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
