LEDBETTER - Rickey "Rick" Charles VanCura, 53, of Ledbetter died March 16 at his home.
Mr. VanCura was an ordained minister and also involved in the medical field.
Surviving are his mother, Bettie Sosa of Paducah; a son, Eric VanCura of Mayfield; a daughter, Jessica Kirchner of Paducah; four brothers, Michael VanCura of Symsonia, and Daryle Sosa, Jose G. Sosa and Gerald Sosa, all of Paducah; three sisters, Sarah VanCura of Kevil, Maria Baker of Paducah and Tammy Hawk of Benton; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles James VanCura, and two sisters.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
