Funeral services for Robert L. "Bobby" Bradford, age 80, of West Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Kendrick Lewis and the Rev. Kenny Locke officiating. Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mr. Bradford died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Born in Ballard County, Mr. Bradford was a member of Palestine United Methodist Church and Grahamville Masonic Lodge No. 707. He retired as a supervisor with Higdon Food Service and had previously worked for 30 years with Magnavox and CTS.
Mr. Bradford is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Nell Bradford. He is also survived by a son and his wife, David L. (Brooke) Bradford of Georgetown, Ky.; one sister, Wilma Jerrell of West Paducah; and two grandchildren, Ryan D. Bradford and his wife, Michaelyn, of Memphis and Erin B. Bradford Back and her husband, Chris, of Cynthiana, Ky. Mr. Bradford is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Shelby.
Mr. Bradford's parents were Dallas T. Bradford and Lena Holman Bradford.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
