Robert E. Flood, 72, of Paducah passed away at 8:40 a.m. Saturday at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union.
Mr. Flood is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Flood; one son, Robert Flood of Paducah; three sisters, Ina Bachara of Joliet, Ill., Barbara Johnson and Tilda Lampley, both of Symsonia; two grandchildren, Adrianna Flood and Nathan Flood, both of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delbert Flood and J.B. Flood. His parents were Hoy C. Flood and Esther Throgmorton Flood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Crouch officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
