Robert Klope

March 11, 1934 — August 21, 2016

Robert Lee "Bob" Klope, 82, of West Paducah, passed away at 1:45 am on Sunday, August 21,
2016 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Bob retired from Sears and was a member of High Point Pentecostal Church, where he served as
a song leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Board Member. He was the founding member of the
High Point Harmonaires Quartet that traveled the tri-state area through the 1970's and 1980's
and continued in his home church for a total of over 60 years.
He is survived by his four sons, Darrell Klope and wife Pam of Harrisburg, IL, Terry Klope and
wife, Gale of West Paducah, Kevin Klope and wife Pam of West Paducah, Craig Klope and wife
Laura of Mt. Juliet, TN; eight grandchildren, Andrew Klope and wife Megan, Adam Klope and wife
Kayla, Olivia Klope Mitchner and husband Daren, Aaron Klope, Hannah Klope, Braden Klope wife
Renae, Austin Klope, Makenzie Klope; eight great grandchildren, Ariana Klope, Annalise Klope,
Aiden Klope, Jackson Klope, Kianna Klope, Micah Klope, Carter Klope, Kyle Michael Klope, step
great grandson Daren Mitchner, Jr; sister in law, Hilda Rae Porter of Moorpark California; and
brother in law Norman Thomas Massey and wife Frankie of West Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Malinda Rue Klope; sister Mildred Unger;
infant brother Clyde Klope; and grandson John Eric Klope.
Funeral services for Robert will be 11:00 am on Thursday, August, 25, 2016 at High Point
Pentecostal Church with Rev. Doug Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park
Cemetery.
Visitation for Robert will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at
Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
