Robert C. McManus, 89, of Paducah died at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. McManus was a letter carrier for US Postal Service in Paducah, a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during WWII and Korean Wars. He was also a member of East Baptist Church of Paducah.
He is survived by four daughters, Nora Choat of Paducah, Becky Stinson of Mayfield, Barbara Leuteritz of Paducah, and Patricia Tucker of Benton; one brother, Jerry McManus of San Antonio, TX; ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Birdie McManus; wife, Ella (Williams) McManus; one sister; one brother; one daughter, Carolyn McManus; and one grandson, Andrew McManus.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Hughes Funeral home in Paducah with Rev. Kenneth Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
Visitation wil lbe from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
