Robert O. "Bob" Morris, 83, of Paducah, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 6:35 am at Baptist Health Paducah.

Bob, as he was known to his friends, was born on August 15, 1930 in Paducah, KY to Robert and Stella Morris. He was a 1948 graduate of Reidland High School. He furthered his education at Paducah Junior College, where he graduated in 1950. He served his country as a sergeant with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked as an Operations Manager for M & G Transport. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah, a member of the Elks Club, an avid golfer and a member of the Rolling Hills Country Club.

He is survived by his friend and companion, Bea Tapp, of Paducah, KY; his sons, Robert K. Morris and wife Sue Ann, of Owensboro, KY, Kelly S. Morris and wife Samantha, of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Katie Alexander and husband Craig, of Houston, TX, Evan Morris and wife Kate, of Louisville, KY, Tiffany Morris, of Tyler, TX, Tyson Morris, of Paducah, KY; his great grandchildren, Sidney Alexander, of Houston, TX, Holt Alexander, of Houston, TX and Kadence Morris, of Tyler, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Terrell Morris and Stella Rosier Morris and his brother Rodney Terrell Morris.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah. Rev. Tommy Tucker will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
