Rubert "Ray" Welch, 93, of Paducah died Monday, May 3rd at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Welch was a decorated World War II veteran, a retired machinist and a 50-year Mason.
Surviving are three children, Diane, Don and Bob; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Juanita Welch of Arkansas; five grandchildren, Erik, Jill, Dylan, Riley and Kelly; three great-grandchildren, Shelby, Luke and Nick; and a very dear and special friend of many years, Jean Williams.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorine Lue Nell; and his parents, William and Pearl Welch.
Services will be at 12 noon Thursday at Roth Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Roth Funeral Chapel is charge of arrangements.
