Rudy Hines

PLEASANT VIEW, Tenn. - Rudy Lee Hines, age 86, of Pleasant View, formerly of Paducah, passed away Wednesday at Golden Living Center in Springfield.

Mr. Hines was a native of McCracken County, Ky. He was retired from USEC and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church, V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Mr. Hines is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Anderson Hines of Pleasant View; two sons, Michael Lee Hines and wife, LaDonna of Pleasant View and Robbin Lynne Hines of West Paducah; and two granddaughters, Michaela Lee Hines and Rebekah Lynne Hines, both of Pleasant View.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hess Hines and Bessie Lee Shaffer Hines; one brother, Henry Kasper Hines; and a sister, Florence Marie Cooper Hines.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. David Royalty officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may visit today from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to Spring Bayou Baptist Church, 11205 Woodville Road, Kevil, KY 42053; Golden Living Center or Ascera Hospice, 104 Watson Rd., Springfield, TN 37172; or to your favorite charity.
