Graveside services for Ruth Price Irwin, 82, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2007, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Justice officiating.
Mrs. Irwin died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Paducah and a former member of Old Hickory Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Irwin retired from Irwin Furniture Company in Old Hickory, Tenn., which she and her husband owned and operated for 30 years. She returned to Paducah from Nashville, Tenn., five years ago.
Surviving are three nephews, Dalton Lee Chandler Sr. and wife, Judy Wurth Chandler, of Paducah, Danny Bellows and wife, Dorothy, of Charleston, S.C., and Chris O'Neil of Spartanburg, S.C.; two nieces, AnnHara Price Henderson and husband, Joe, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Ellen Kay Price Hurt and husband, Gray, of Owensboro; and one sister-in-law, Bobbie Kay Price of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Irwin; two sisters, Doris Price Chandler and Betty Price James; and one brother, Dalton Otis Price Jr. Her parents were Dalton Otis Price Sr. and Thelma Walker Price.
Friends may call after noon Friday, April 13, 2007, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
