Graveside services with military rites for Samuel J. Bowlin, 63, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Jones officiating.
He died Monday at Lourdes hospital.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk. He was an over-the-road truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Gayle Bowlin; two daughters, Autumn Dugat of Houston and Summer Ogg of San Antonio; a brother, Daniel Bowlin of Marshall County; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were Eugene and Helen Corzine Bowlin.
