Seay-Webb
Sandra Seay-Webb, 54, of Paducah, passed away at her home in Paducah on Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Sandra worked as a RN at Baptist Health Paducah.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Champ Wyatt Webb of Paducah; one son, Robert Wyatt McDaniel (Daniel) Webb of Paducah; three daughters, Brook Elizabeth Webb of Paducah, Caroline Michelle Webb of Lexington and Reagan Grace Webb of Paducah; her mother, Ruth Byerley Seay of Paducah; one sister, Roxane (husband Kenny) Price of Paducah; two grandchildren, Jackson Diaz and Baylie Webb; one nephew, David Price and the "Nashville Webbs" Champ, Holly and their boys, Champ and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Seay; and her brother, Bobby Seay.
She was born August 28, 1959, at Western Baptist Hospital. She went to Whittier grade school, Jetton JH and graduated from Paducah Tilghman HS in 1977. She attended PCC and the University of Kentucky. She started working at age 14 at the Cape Codder restaurant and purchased her first new car at 16. And at the age of 42, with 4 kids in school, she went back to school and became an RN. Her work ethic was remarkable, she took pride in saying, "I've never been late for work and I don't leave work until everything is done." But let there be no misunderstanding, her true life's work was being "mom."
Indeed, Sandy will be sadly missed but much more importantly, she will be happily remembered for her quick and often cutting wit and her truly unique style. She will always be respected because of the clarity of her opinion and the depth of her passion. She will always be loved by and bonded to "Brookie," "Boone," "K-line" and "Rea-Rea" because of her unrelenting and unwavering commitment to them. And her soul will live forever because of her unfaltering faith in Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Johnny Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
