Sarah Buchanan Berry, 85, of Paducah passed away at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at her daughter's residence in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Mrs. Berry was a homemaker and a member of Northside United Methodist Church and Paducah-McCracken County Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Herndon and husband Drex of Jonesboro and Brenda Berry of Princeton, Ky.; two sisters, LaVanche Cox of Paducah and Ann Rayl of Paducah; two brothers, Ben Buchanan of Paducah and Gene Buchanan of Paducah; and her grandchildren, Emily Gribble and husband Eric of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Cory Herndon of Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Berry; her parents, Rollie Garrett and Lillis V. Elliott Buchanan, and five brothers.
Services for Sarah Berry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Merle Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
Visitation for Mrs. Berry will begin at noon Saturday, December 20, 2008, at the funeral home.
