Sarah Bougeno

Sarah Ward Bougeno, age 96, of Paducah, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Bougeno was a native of Clinton, Ky., and was a member of the Fountain Ave. United Methodist Church, Susanna Wesley Sunday School Class and Naomi Group. She also was a member of Paducah Chapter 341 United Daughters of the Confederacy, and a 65 year member of the Clara Hendrich Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two nieces, Phyllis Bone of Clinton, Ky., and Janet Smith of Wood River, Ill.; three nephews, Elliott Kimbro of Paducah, Ky., Tommy Kimbro and Bobby Kimbro, both of Clinton, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Bougeno; three sisters; one stepsister; two stepbrothers; and her stepmother. Her parents were Sam Ward and Edna Byassee Ward.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at the Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
