Shirley Rudd

Shirley Jane Holland Rudd, 76, of Ledbetter, passed away at 3:18 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Superior Care Home.

She was a member of Salt and Light Community Church, and retired from Western Baptist Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Symsonia and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Shirley loved spending time with all her friends at the Senior Citizens Club of Paducah as well as Ledbetter.

She is survived by her son, Carl Ray Williams and wife Jamie of Nashville, TN; sister, Joyce Ann Barker of Campbell, TX; and three grandchildren, Janet Michele Rhew of Paducah, Wyatt Cooper Williams of Nashville TN, Xander David Williams of Nashville Tn.

She was preceded in death by her husband,Johnny Allen Rudd; her daughter, Carolyn Jean Rhew; two brothers, Bobby Lee Holland, and Billy E. Miller. Her parents were Gordon Ray Holland and Ruby Thomas Evans.

Funeral services for Shirley will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jim Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation for Shirley will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
