Services for Sue Laverne Stephenson, 93, of Paducah will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. Jeff Fisher and Drs. David West and Clayton Beasley will officiate. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephenson died at 6:07 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Lourdes hospital.
She was retired from Davis Food Giant and was a faithful member of the Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 80 years. She served her church as a Sunday school teacher, Ladies Missionary Circle, and as a church volunteer worker.
Mrs. Stephenson is survived by one son, Kenneth Stephenson and wife, Brenda; one daughter, Linda McKinney and husband, Kean; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Stephenson; five grandchildren, Patrick Stephenson and wife, Lisa, Mitchell Stephenson and wife, Lori, Susan Fisher and husband, the Rev. Jeff Fisher, Lisa Brooks and husband, George, and Laurie Ellis and husband, Dr. Brian Ellis; 10 great-grandchildren, Mark Thomas Stephenson, Madison and Lauren Brooks, Scott and John Fisher, Baker, Samuel and Joseph Ellis, and Rachel and Cole Stephenson; four nieces; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.H. Stephenson; one son, Thomas H. Stephenson; one grandson, Dr. Brian Stephenson; two sisters; and one brother.
Friends may call after noon Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the funeral home.
