Services for Thelma Marie Mitchell, 83, of Reidland will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hughes Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Council officiating. Burial will be at Maplelawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell died at 12:01 a.m. Friday at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple and Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are three daughters, Nadine Hultz of Simpsonville, S.C., Sonja Ryan of Reidland, and Pam Blackburn of Lone Oak; three stepsons, Jerry Mitchell and Monte Mitchell, both of Hazel Park, Mich., and Gary Mitchell of Paducah; one sister, Effie Smith of Sikeston, Mo.; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Mitchell; two sons, Jackie Randall Hooker and Carmon Eugene Hooker; and one brother. Her parents were Monroe K. and Cellie McKnight Stewart.
Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today, and after noon Sunday at the funeral home.
