Thomas "Toby" Adams, 79, of Paducah died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at his residence.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jean Adams; daughter, Deborah Turner and husband Steve of Smithland; brother, Lee Adams of Paducah; and two great-grandchildren, Alexandria Turner of Smithland and Dustin A. Poat of Marshall County; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Adams was predeceased by his parents, A.L. Adams and Gertie Adams; brother, Dub Adams; and granddaughter, Laura Stacey Poat.
Graveside services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Roth Funeral Chapel in Paducah.
