Thomas Murdock Jr., 60, of Paducah died Wednesday at his home.
He was employed by Steak 'n Shake and was formerly a cook at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Marion, Ill., and Leroy & Lita's Truck Stop. He was a member of Rosary Chapel.
Mr. Murdock is survived by his son, Andre Bennett of Paducah; one brother, Jerry Murdock of Paducah; four sisters, Billie Hixon, Barbara Burrage, Kathy Francis and Phyllis Murdock, all of Paducah; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Thomas Murdock and Cora Mae Jenkins Murdock.
Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating.
Friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home.
