Services for Verbenia D. Smith, 99, of Paducah will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ninth Street Church of Christ, where she was a member for more than 60 years and served as secretary for several years. William D. Hensley and Mark Rowe will officiate. Burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was a native of Ballard County.
Surviving are one son, Wiley Smith of Paducah; one granddaughter, Vivian C. Foster of Jackson, Mich.; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Smith; two brothers; one sister; and her twin sister. Her parents were William H. and Mary Belle Johnson Reeves.
Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today at Mundy Funeral Home, with special visitation after noon Saturday at the church.??
