Verna Peeples

Verna Elizabeth (nee Schneider) of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Tuesday January 29, 2019 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Murrell C. Peeples Sr.; cherished daughter of the late John and Mary Schneider; devoted mother of Connie (Andy) Lewis; loving grandmother of Lance (Kelly) Peeples, Lyle (Shirley) Peeples, Tracy (Dave) Moresco, and Jay (Amanda) Lewis; treasured great-grandmother of Elizabeth (David) Metzger, Jake Peeples, Alex Moresco, Brianna Lewis, Victoria Lewis; and anticipated great-great-grandmother to one on the way. Verna is also survived by dearest nephew Jim Whitaker, many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Verna was also preceded in death by her son, Murrell Peeples, Jr.; three sisters, Helen (Charles) Jean, Marie (Jim) Pendergast, and Aileen (John) Boll; and two brothers, Edwin (Marie) Schneider and Jim (Lorraine) Schnieder.

Verna loved knitting, crocheting, and crafting ceramics. She also loved traveling around and making fond memories. Verna was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
