Wanda Clark Jordan

Wanda Clark Jordan age 68 of Paducah passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 4:09 a.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

She was a faithful and longtime member serving as church clerk at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. 

She graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School Class of 1972 and continued her education at Kentucky State University.  After 19 years of dedicated service to Housing Authority of Paducah as assistant property manager at Ella Munal Apartments, Wanda retired.

She was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Wanda was a helpful, kind person willing to be of service within her community. As the family organizer, she loved being a part of photos, was a loving mother, always concerned about her daughter, a grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wyatt Drake, parents, Benjamin F. Clark Jr. and Lucille Holland Clark and one sister, Pamela Clark Broady.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Jordan: five grandchildren; Montreal Jordan, Tamya Walker, Amya Walker, Arrianna Brison and Makhi Jordan all of Paducah; one niece, several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Anthony Daniels and Reverend Gary Evans officiating.  Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
