Wanda L. Steger, 83, of Paducah died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday at Superior Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Steger was a member of First Christian Church, a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and the former owner of a dress shop and beauty supply company.
Surviving are one daughter, Cheris Alexander of Paducah; two sons, Dennis Steger of Houston and Mike Steger of Paducah; one brother, Roy "Skip" Skinner of Nashville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Hugh B. Steger; one sister; and two brothers. Her parents were Marion Henry Skinner and Rubye Tapp Skinner.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Willis Henson officiating. Friends may call from noon Monday until the service time at the funeral home.
