Wayne "Pip" Marshall, 97 of Paducah died at 5:30 pm Monday December 2, 2013 at his home. Mr. Marshall was veteran of WWII having served as an Army Sergeant. He was a 32 Degree Mason. He was a retired painter having worked for O.E. Hancock & Sons. He loved his farm and going to the river to watch the barges from the foot of Broadway. He was a breakfast regular at "Little Castle". He will be sadly missed by his beloved dog "Buddy". He is survived by his Godson and nephew,... Kenneth W. Meeks and wife Sherri of Paducah. Nephews, Jeffrey W. Marshall and William "Bill" Ashley and wife Pat. Nieces, Mary Ashley, Sandy Ashley and Beverly Ashley. Several great nieces and nephews; and several more great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David, Sr. and Mattie Faith Marshall. His wife of 57 years, Sarah Meeks Marshall. Sisters, Mary Fleeta Ashley and Virginia Ashley. Brothers, David Marshall, Jr., Gratis "Jap" Marshall and Edward Doyle Marshall. Nephews, Michael D. Marshall and Aaron Ashley.

Funeral services for Wayne Marshall will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. F. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial with military honors to follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until service time Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the funeral home.
