Willard Wilson, 77, of West Paducah died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Wilson was a member of Oakalone Christian Church, where he served as Steward and Trustee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He graduated from West Kentucky Vocational School with a certificate in Carpentry. He retired from the Carpentry Department of Martin Marietta Energy Systems after 32 years.
He is survived by five daughters, Cecelia Barnette, Constance L. White, Renee Coleman, Lois Elaine Wilson, all of Paducah, and Pamela L. Crider of West Paducah; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice White Wilson; his parents, Elmus Wilson and Lillie Mae Titsworth Wilson; three sisters, and four brothers.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. James L. Hudson and Clayton Beasley officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
